Dr. Emily Taylor is a Perry County local who graduated from Sheridan High in 2016. She was a 2x state qualifier in the shot-put and continued her athletic career at the University of Akron where she threw the hammer and earned her bachelors degree in Exercise Physiology. While at Akron, Emily recognized the higher quality of healthcare she received being a division one athlete. This grew her desire to bring higher quality care to her community.
In 2024, Emily Graduated from Ohio University with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. During her time at OU, she also obtained certifications to practice Dry Needling and took advanced coursework in rehabilitation for the running and the athletic population. Dr. Taylor is passionate about providing the division one level experience to all of her patients. Therefore, she decided to get away from the restraints of insurance and start First Division PT where she plans to fulfill her mission to bring higher quality care to everyone.
